Architects of Mediterranean Countries. Coordinated by the University of Tesalonika in Greece. Architecture departments from seven universities, two Associations of Architects and EDIW participate in the project.
This project is about the present and future of the profession of architecture from the points of view of academia (Schools of Architecture), the profession (Professional Associations) and from an interdisciplinary perspective (the part that is addressed by EDIW). Our contribution will center on interviews with a group of architects and architecture students who will be able to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the joint reflection. What does society need from this profession? What can architecture contribute to build a better world? Three groups are convened: one in Italy, one in Spain and one through a network.
